The 6th graders in school are so cute...so spontaneous and eager to talk to me. Today one of the boys saw that all my jewellery had peace symbols on them so he asked me "Are you some kind of hippie?" :p
I stopped and laughed and then we started to talk about peace symbols, and what it meant to be a hippie and such...and I really think that a short chat was exactly what he wanted :)
The necklace is a memory from when my sister and I went to Finland by ourselves.
I was  just 15 and she was 16. As a memory from the trip I bought the pendant, which is made of silver plated tin. I have always liked it very much.
I am done with my feedback to the ninthgrader...PLUS it is staff party tomorrow...yay!
