Xmas with my kids

...as it should be. For a while it didn't seem like Mika could not make it home but as it turned out both my kids were able to make it.

We unwrapped presents, ate candy and just talked. In the evening we ate turkey, Brussels sprouts, roasted potatoes and beetroot salad. It was yummy. Actually my boyfriend made the turkey. The only thing one can complain about is that he didn't stuff the turkey and it therefore was a bit dry, he also was a bit too easy on the pepper...but it was a really nice meal. We all love turkey. I appreciated my presents a lot, for example right now I wear knitted socks with gorgeous soft fur inside...and I will be able to walk on ice without looking like Bambi from now on.

Nathalie really seemed to like the microwave oven I got her and her boyfriend Emil. I can't have a microwave oven myself since apparently the electric cables in my flat are haunted by very evil spirits who so far have blown up:
My computer
My coffee brewer
My microwave oven
My tv screen
plus many bulbs...I really should employ an exorcists :p

Now I really look forward to my brother's visit from Canada 1-3 January. It will be super lovely. If you want to practice your English, come visit :)

I look horrendios on this pic, but since my kids look better it has to do for an illustration and memory of the Xmas 2013:
